EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR SETTING UP 30 MTPD MILK POWDER PLANT PROJECT IN CHANNARAYAPATNA, HASSAN DISTRICT ON DESIGN-BUILD-OPERATE-TRANSFER (DBOT) MODEL
Karnataka Milk Federation Ltd, (KMF) invites “Expression of Interest” from interested project developers (individual firm or consortium) for setting up 30 MTPD export quality Milk Powder manufacturing plant on developer’s own cost in Channarayapatna, Hassan Dist, Karnataka on “Design-Build-Operate-Transfer” model. KMF guarantees to supply an average of 2.5 lakh liter of milk per day throughout the year for conversion to Milk powder at an agreed conversion charges for a period of 20 years and thereafter the project developer has to handover the project facilities in good running condition to KMF. Along with EOI, the project developer shall furnish detailed information about technology that will be used for design, strategy of implementation / commissioning of the project and details of projects installed and commissioned based on this technology. Pre-bid meeting is scheduled on 31st MAY 2013 at 3 PM (time) at KMF CO, Bangalore to discuss the details of proposals and providing clarifications, if any. The EOI should be submitted by the Project developer on or before 20th June 2013 at the above address during office hours. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR SETTING UP 30 MTPD MILK POWDER PLANT PROJECT IN CHENNARAYAPATNA, HASSAN DISTRICT ON DESIGN-BUILD-OPERATE-TRANSFER (DBOT) MODEL
Karnataka Milk Federation Ltd,. (KMF) invites “Expression of Interest” from interested project developers for setting up 30 MTPD Export Quality Milk Powder manufacturing plant in Chennarayapatna, Hassan Dist,. Karnataka on “Design-build-operate-transfer” model on the following terms and conditions.
- 1. Project developer should submit the expression of interest after conducting survey and inspection of the said project at his own cost.
- 2. Project developer may be individual firm or consortium. The developer’s technical collaborator should have the experience of installation and commissioning of Milk Powder manufacturing plant project. Selected technology should be techno-commercially proven.
- 3. Project developer should have an annual turnover of minimum Rs.500 crores.
- 4. Project developer should install the project at his own cost by considering its commercial aspects within the project implementation period not exceeding 18 months. The developer shall operate the plant to manufacture EXPORT QUALITY Milk Powder by deploying required quality and skilled man-power and adopting good engineering manufacturing practices for a period of 20 years. KMF is guaranteed to supply an average of 2.5 lakh liter of milk per day throughout the year for conversion to export quality Milk powder. After the completion of project period of 20 years , the project developer has to handover the project facilities in good running condition to KMF.
- 5. The land to an extent of 5 acre (Approximately) adjacent to the existing Powder Plant shall be provided by KMF for the establishment of powder plant. KMF shall arrange required processed milk for powder conversion, formulation details and lift entire Powder manufactured. Arranging all the utilities, consumables, power, water etc,. For plant operations shall be the responsibility of the project developer.
- 6. KMF will pay the agreed conversion charges towards conversion to finished export quality Milk Powder on per KG of Powder so manufactured on monthly basis.
- 7. Preference shall be given to the project developer who is ready to install and commission the project within minimum time period.
- 8. Project developer shall have to deposit interest free security deposit with KMF. The SD shall be forfeited in case project is not installed & commissioned within the stipulated period.
- 9. Project developer shall be responsible for all liabilities and incidental expenses during the survey, testing, installation & commissioning of the project.
- 10. Along with EOI, the project developer shall furnish detailed information about technology that will be used for design, strategy of implementation / commissioning of the project and details of projects installed and commissioned based on this technology.
- 11. Project developer shall fulfil all the legal requirements and obtain necessary permissions /sanctions required for the project installation from appropriate competent authorities and also shall be responsible for implementation of concerned regulations.
Pre-bid meeting is scheduled on 31st MAY 2013 at 3 PM (time) at KMF CO, Bangalore to discuss the details of proposals and providing clarifications, if any. The Expression of Interest should be submitted by the Project developer on or before 20th June 2013 at the above address during office hours. KMF reserves the right to accept or reject any one or all the EOI without assigning any reason thereof.
