Vijayapura & Bagalkot District Co-operative Milk Producers' Societies' Union Ltd.
Union covering Vijayapura and Bagalkot districts of perennial drought but having high fat content buffalo milk, boasting of the famous Golgumbuz monument, Sculpture of Chalukya dynasty and famous for variety of fruits such as Grapes and Pomegranate. Here are more than 428 functioning DCSs covering 11 taluks.
There are 25 Bulk Milk Coolers and 340 Automatic Milk Collection Units in the union.
The unions procures on an Average of 1.62 lakh kgs/day of milk and sells milk 0.76 lakh litres/day 0.09 litres/day of curd.The Union also produces Butter, Ghee, SMP, Cream, Peda.
