Kalaburgi-Bidar and Yadgir Co-operative Milk Producers' Societies Union Limited
The ‘scorching heat city' famous for cement plants, Shahabad stones and saint Basaveshwara has more than 421 functioning DCSs covering 13 out of 15 taluks in Kalaburgi and Bidar Districts.
It has chilling centres at Bidar-30 TLPD , Kalaburagi -60 TLPD . Shahapur chilling capacity 10 TLPD. There is 15 Bulk Milk Coolers, 113 Automatic Milk Collection and 1 Community Milking Parlours in the union.
The union procures on an Average 0.48 lakh kg/day of milk,sells 0.55 lakh litres/per day and 0.05 litres/day of curd.The Union also produces Butter, Ghee & Peda.
Excellence: Union with resplendent of Self-Help Groups and women societies with four Women Directors on the Union's Board for the first time in the State.
