Cattle Feed being an important input to milk production is manufactured in five plants viz Rajanukunte, Gubbi, Dharwad, Hassan & Shikaripur plants.

* The combined Production capacity of all 5 plants is 1350MT with capacity  Utilization of more than 140%.

* All 4 Plants are ISO 9001:2008 certified.

These plants are preparing Varieties of Cattle Feeds. They are

•    By-pass Cattle Feed
•    Nandini Gold (Formerly Type-1) Cattle Feed
•    Urea Molasses Block
•    Area Specific Mineral Mixture
•    Calf Feed
•    Calf Starter
•    Bull Feed 

In order to maintain the quality of the feed, so as to increase the energy and the nutrition, the Maize percentage in the cattle feed has been increased and the feed is being produced in the name of “NANDINI GOLD”. 
Nandini gold is a highly nutritive feed, having higher energy content, Fat and Total Digestible Nutrients. It will help the cattle’s to maintain good health and produce quality Milk. As the Nandini Gold feed is highly energetic and delicious feed, with sufficient positive energy balance, which results in good reproductive performance in the dairy animals along with increase in Milk yield and immunity.

While Urea Molasses Brick is manufactured at Rajankunte,  Mineral Mixture is produced at Gubbi, Hassan and  Dharwad Plants. Also Formaldehyde treatment (by pass protein) plant has been established in Hassan and started production.

Nandini Cattle feed is  distributed not only to milk producers through milk unions but also to the dairy farms managed by other organizations like NDRI, CFSPTI, CCBF, NIANP, IVRT, BSF(Yelahanka), UAS(Hebbal/GKVK), SLBC, SBTC, SSCC and also to Rajbhavan.
