Co-operative Milk Producers' Societies' Union Limited
The Union was established under the World Bank Project in
1975. The Dairy has a processing capacity of 1.00 lakh litres per day
which will be increased to 2.0 Lakh Litres per day. The average
milk procurement for the year 2009-10 is 3.08 lakh kgs per
day. The Union sells on an average 1.41 litres per day.
There are 18 Bulk Milk Coolers, 61 Automatic Milk Collection
in the Union.
The Union also sells milk in parts of Bangalore City.

Apart from selling milk, the Union also produces Curds, Peda, Butter
Milk and Ghee. It has four Chilling Centres located at Sira, Madhugiri, Yediyur and Kibbanahalli with chilling capacity of 0.90 LLPD.
